She's always been very anxious and emotional and sensitive (this is my 6yo) and it's just getting worse - she's lashing out; practically had a panic attack the other night; but she's angry too and I cop the brunt of it (she had a meltdown this morning because it was sports uniform day and that means she has to wear shorts, but her sister were a dress to daycare and "that's so unfair mum, make her wear shorts too")... I just wish I could help her.

Yep, we've taken her a couple of years ago and just recently I had a had a half hour phone conversation with the psychologist - everything DH and I are doing sounds like it's the right thing - but I think it's time for a second opinion. She's not like it at school, so I don't know if she just holds it together so much at school and then just feels safe enough around me to let go... poor thing.

Might be a good idea, see if they can get her to open up a bit. We have considered it with our son, as he quite often refuses to tapk about anything, and we had a rough patch with him.
