    Default Non Lodgement help

Morning all. I need to do a non Lodgement with centrelink but I don't understand how to do it. My partner didn't work this financial year, well he did at the start but only got like 2g. I had him down as an estimate of 18g. I got as far as doing both of us are doing a non Lodgement but then it comes up with our income I think. Do I put in what he earned there? I do I change mine to what is on my payment summary? I don't know.
    Please help.

I could be wrong but @turquoisecoast would know the answer im sure.

But i think you need to lodge a CU (Client update form) which is a non lodgement form with your tax agent that states that you didn't earn enough money and you don't need to lodge a tax return.

You can do it on the centerlink app I think.

When it comes up with your estimated income, just change it to your actual income.

I doubt they'd be using a tax agent.

We do have one actually, don't think we really need him this year though.

So for me would this be the parenting and new start that I got the statement for?

You both need to log on to the ATO and put in a non lodgement form.

You then log on to Centrelink and complete a non lodgement on there. Here, you will put in your dp's total income, including work, newstart etc., as well as your income, including parenting payment.
There will be a PAYG summary in your Centrelink statements on the website/app, that will tell you the exact amount that Centrelink paid you last financial year.
