    Agreed MissDa it's good to get in a good place physically and mentally. I am on a diet to try and lose some of this pred weight and back to acupunture so am doing the mind and body thing. In some ways we need to move on with our life either way and if we wait it's just more waiting and more putting our life on hold like it feels like we've done for 3 years now.

    I think the higher the better for lining so just hit me with the lot. Dr M mentioned viagra and trental? Not sure what the trental is and maybe doing ivig treatment. Anyone done any of these?

    @Lastchance75 yes I agree definately the higher the better with the lining it always reasures me if I get it past 8mm. Wazza has me on both trental and nitro-dur patches which both improve blood flow which in turn hopefully improves the lining.

    My FS has put me on the progynova, trental, aspirin and viagra for my lining as I've always has issues. I can't say if it will work but I'm hopeful. @Charlie74 has been on trental awhile but I'm not sure if she's had any scans to check if there's been improvement.

    @Lastchance75

    Hello to everyone from sunny Greece ! We are in the midst of the DE process , transfer scheduled next Wednesday !!! Time flies ...

    In the Greece forum they suggested pomegranate juice to help build the lining & keep things healthy . My lining seems ok but I'm taking some just for some natural support !

    RE lining I have done the works viagra, trental, progesterone orally and inserted ect none made a difference to my lining. Once I can get my oestrogen down we are doing a mini stim FET cycle to see if the FSH can bring it up higher than 6mm. The other thing to consider RE lining is the three layer effect so even if it is thicker than 6.5 they like it to have a three layer look apparently.

    Wazza wants mine to get above 6.5mm. He (Wazza) does a lot of research and reading up so when he says or does something it is almost always because it is in his up to date research. Another specialist who I quite like reading about is Dr Sher he is in America is very current and up to date regarding all things IVF. I actually think he might be the one who Wazza gets a bit of information from.

    So Vent alert coming.....
    It's funny when I first decided to do donor embryos earlier in the year I had it in my head that this would be our easy way. Finally after three years and so much heart ache I convinced myself that donor embryos was the magical key. Well as per usual as is all things me and fertility I have had a huge wake up call. Almost 6 months later and not even getting to a transfer point has made me realise that I was stupid to think this would be my easy way out. Nothing about IVF is ever going to be easy for me and my husband. I have even started looking at Canadian surrogacy as I have absolutely no faith that I will even get to a point where I can transfer any of my "magical" embryos and then when I do knowing me it will fail. Reading crap on other threads like travelling donors had a five out of five hit with all five ladies in the late April lot getting their BFP's just ****es me off. I am not included in those stats. No one ever talks about the one who doesn't get to transfer, or doesn't get success. But you know just rub it in my face and kick me a little bit harder while I am already completely down. Hense my huge bub hub breaks, I sometimes tread to other threads to have a read when I come on here and it just makes me sad and angry and then depressed. Reading crap like that just makes me want to scream and stamp my feet like a three year old.

    Anyway sorry about that but I know that most of you ladies will understand where I am coming from or maybe you won't but there it is. I wrote it more for me anyway sometimes you just have to get stuff out before you implode.

    Yes...the endometrium having the "triple layer" or Trilaminar appearance is what they like to see including Wazza who calls it the "hamburger"

    Vent away I say!!! This must be so frucking frustrating for you Luv

    Yes..I can see why you need to step away from BH and take a break. When you're doing it tough, the "happy,happy,joy,joy" of others can really bring you down even further It's no-one's fault or intention, it's just how it is and it does get too bloody much at times!!!

    You should start up a thread here in the IVF section for other doing it hard like yourself where they can come and vent, first and foremost, secondly, so that others can see that it's not all beer and frucking skittles on this sh!t of a ride and thirdly, so that they can see just how bloody difficult it can get because some of them will find themselves in the same position unfortunately (if they aren't already) so a heads up for the one's that don't know it's coming might help prepare them in some small way for what they will have to face in the future.
