@Charlie74 LBs room said to allow 2 wks for transfer of records. Dr M said a few days.
I spoke with QFG. Fresh cycle with ICSI $8660, Medicare rebatable. $900 Wazzas fee, Medicare rebatable. QFG Registration fee $220. $220 PICSI. Budget $300 for meds ($38.30 each script ). Plus anesthetist and hospital fees. I have to allow an extra $1820 for DS. Plus travel costs. You pay the $8860 just before EPU and if you cancel pre EPU it only costs $585, rebatable by Medicare. It works differently than Monash.
Also I did this the wrong way round. I booked my same day return flights then realised I needed to allow an extra 3 hrs after Wazza's apt (1.5hrs with Nurse, 1hr DS counselling, 0.5hrs DS apt).
Now I'm left wondering if I fork out the extra $90 to change my flight so I can fit in the extra apts for an OE cycle. I think I'd be around $6500 OOP plus flights for an OE cycle with an under 10% chance. It brings home why I moved on to DE quite quickly. Food for thought.
They have 7 local SDs and 18 American SDs. Only 2 are blue eyed blondes.

Gorgeous new mummy @Bongley. I completely second all of @Blossom74s sentiments. I hope DS can make sense of why Mummy is in hospital and baby brother is too. Kisses for Sasha. xx @Heyside that's one heck a brilliant scan result. Well done!!
Sorry @Molros it looks like I've completely misled you. Because I have homo MTHFR I can't process folic acid so I take a good quality womens multivitamin, Blackmores Women's Vitality Multi, and add L-Methylfolate 1000mcg, for the MTHFR. Elivit made my completely constipated, not fun.

God. I'm having the complete opposite issue. Ever since I started pregnancy MV's I've had mild-ish diarrhea. I've tried several brands and same issues. Any suggestions? Anyone?

I'm asking the obvious question...but have you tried Elevit? All that extra iron is the clogging culprit isn't it??

You're welcome @Charlie74. Yep there's just the one up front payment of $8660 instead of the two instalments that we're used to. I had to ask the question 3 times!
I miss the UK prenatals. They had fish oil in them too, so not an extra tablet to get a brainy kid. I loved the Boots version. Hey, btw, where's my M&S chocolate cake with buttercream icing??!

Scan can went well - 7 weeks 2 days heart beat and growth on track! Didn't ask the heartbeat and just said I want to know if it was 'good' and he said it was ( otherwise would have resulted in chronic googling and stressing over bpm). So that's it for me and my FS, he gave me a hug to say goodbye, was a bit sad as I got on with him really well and will actually miss my appointments when we could have a chat about other things. Felt elated for about 30 mins but now I'm back in my office I'm starting to stress already about getting to 12 weeks!

@Heyside - that scan sounds good to me!
@Bongley - will be nice for you to come home but understand it would be hard leaving Alex in the hospital. I'm sure he won't be there too long.

On the multivitamin front I originally took elevit and then stopped. Now I'm taking one called Tresor natal or something like that which the acupuncturist sold to me. I take extra folic acid, Vit D and Omega 3 as well.
