@Tahli hello :-) ive very much been enjoying the zen-ness of not taking a million drugs everyday too, and totally dont want to overstep the mark at all, but was just thinking maybe dont forget to take folate 3 months before next attempt, from what ive read its the only vitamin whic h has been proven to reduce neural tube defects. You prob already know that, so sorry if im being a d i c k and, in saying that, ive taken a folate tablet everyday for 7 years, lol, for nothing so far. I actually hate my folate tablet coz everyday when i swallow it, it makes me think, 'what a frucking waste of money' and 'not that this will be any use' so it gets me down to have this 2 second reminder of my infertility everyday. And of course, totally your own choice with what you do, xox

Funnily enough I was gonna call her rooms tomoro about my paperwork being sent to Wazza as well, so are u emailing the form to them? I feel a bit funny asking for my stuff to be sent to him whilst also starting an FET cycle with her soon... But hey-ho.. It's just how it it is right?

Sooooo... Can't believe I'm typing this but it looks like we ARE going to try our FET in August (next cycle) after everything I said last week about pushing it back, DP & I have been talking again yesterday about it all, and I think we've agreed that we've waited since Feb already, and it would be better to know how the cycle goes before seeing Wazza. At least then, if my lining doesn't co-operate, or if it does & then we get a BFN.. Then we will find out a day or so before we see Wazza. And psychologically & logically that feels like it's probably a good thing?? Bcos yes we'll be devastated, but we'll be able to talk to Wazza about it all & take it from there with a new cycle with Wazza & still have some hope & optimism.

Im a little bit excited but mostly completely petrified... I wanted to try & exercise, lose some kilos, feel healthy.. etc etc.. But in reality, I'm not exactly unhealthy, we walked in excess of 130km whilst on holiday so we weren't exactly sedentary.. I do have a horrid cold but I'm sure that'll be gone soon enough.. And as soon as it has, I'll be jumping on the treadmill.
Part of me also feels like I'm maybe just being avoidant by putting it off when we've already been waiting since Feb. Bcos I'm completely terrified of doing this again. And I have struggled with the idea of whether we should see Wazza before or after the FET.

So I think the decision has been made. AF is due in 2 weeks, so I'm calling Monash tomoro to make an appt with my nurse..
I think it's a good plan@Charlie74 - I wouldn't get too hung up on the getting fit, you don't sound that unhealthy to begin with.

@gorgeousgeorge Kick up my Zen butt gratefully received. I've just swallowed my first Women's Multivatimin and L-Methylfolate in months. Ta! I've also just done a reccie of all my meds. Gosh I can't wait to give them away. Although of course, I wish no-one needed them. @Blossom74 You'll be thrilled to know during my reccie I counted 23 FRER sticks and 2 CB digital tests.

yeah you do sound great @Tahli. I think you do get to a point with all this that you have to draw that line somewhere, even though at times you cant imagine you could ever do that. Its a good place to be and you've still got lots of options anyway.

@Charlie74 I agree with @Green lady about the fitness thing, it might be better to not go too hard with running going into your FET. Try some gentler exercise like walking instead of running. That way you're moving but you're not pushing your body too hard whilst gearing up for the BFP Sounds like you are both ready to go this month so awesome! I'll have everything crossed for you

@Green lady is tomorrow the day? How are you going, how are you feeling about things?

Lol @Tahli i so tried to word that post in a 'non butt kicking' way but you saw straight through me baahaa i wonder if the drs working with donors tell those ladies to take folate and how would they know if they did? Anyways, probs lots if ladies who dont take it and have healthy bubs anyway.

@Charlie74 if it makes you feel any better healthwise, i drank copious amounts of wild turkey bourbon fri night and last night, slept until 11am, moved onto the lounge for half an hour to eat the top off a dirty meat pie and 2 spoonfuls of grizzly meat but then it was all too hard for me so i went back to bed. Managed to sit up in bed just now to eat a handful of salt and vinegar chips but had nothing to wash them down with but water and water with chips is yuck so i had to stop because once again it was all too much effort for me. Have just gotten up again to sit on the lounge and consider the fact that my car is still down in the pub carpark and i need it to drive to work tomorrow, have nothing to prepare for lunch tomorrow and there is only 1/2 tin of catfood left. Still wearing makeup from last night and my hair is itchy as all fruck from product. So, in terms of health and adulting responsibilities, you gots to be doing better than me, yeah?

@tuxcat - scan tomorrow at 2.45. I'm ready for whatever comes. I just want either good or bad but no limbo in between torture that will go in for weeks. Physically I feel awful with 24 hour nausea.
