@Billie2 Are you quivering? How did DH react? Fortune really does favour the brave. Given your previous massive haemorrhage you really are one incredibly inspirational woman!! I'm so completely and utterly thrilled for you!!!

@Billie2 When I saw the strength of your second line I did wonder if you'd POAS yesterday at the very least. You've presented us with a fine specimen of a BFP. Thank you. DS took me 10 full years so I hear you hun. Friday Schmiday. I'd be queuing for the vampires at 7.30am tomorrow. Do you already have the request slip?

    Default IVF over 40 #34

@Tahli yes I do have it. But another girl from my clinic who works in my building got her BFP with me, so we will go together. We had EPU together in November and again July!! Its freaky.

Thank you so much to EVERYONE for the open arms & support, especially in Feb when I thought I was losing my life hooked up in resuscitation with alarms going off and Dr's running to me. I thought I was selfish in returning back to IVF, considering our DS8. But I did this for him. We haven't even spoken about it. DH said we will today when our DS has a party for a couple of hours. I showed DH the stick & he said we need to calm down. We have a little celebration lunch today. To be honest Im in shock. My head can't process it. I just feel blessed and thankful.

I must now apologise to @Blossom74 as I was holding back and have this confession of poas...ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1469313553.016494.jpg

@Charlie74 - No hun that is the initial cost upfront $8640 for IVF/ICSI. That doesn't include medication, anesthetist costs or warrens fees though which I outlined elsewhere. There is a registration fee of $220 which was wavered for me as I moved from another clinic, I also see a registration fee for donor sperm outlined in the booklet which is $570. When you claim from medicare you your out of pocket costs on a subsequent cycle are expected to be around $3450.
@Billie2 - Fantastic news hun that is a lovely strong line so happy for you, you are so deserving of this after trying for so long xxxx

Ok ladies looking like a BFN at this stage although told to wait wednesday for blood test . Tested yesterday afternoon , then again this morning .

My boobies are usually a different shape when pregnant so I was a bit prepared for it . Will have to wait for the official test 😬
