    @Heyside

Still VERY jet lagged . I Go back to work tomorrow so hopefully I can pull myself together by then 😳 I'm a bit terrified of facing work as my colleagues think I've just gone to Greece sailing the islands ...well some of the time ..

Good news is progesterone from 7 to 114 now so that crisis is averted ..

hope you are travelling well xx

@Blossom74 why does that stuff always happen when you dont need it ! Arrrgghhh ..good luck sorting it out .

@Tinachris I used DHEA for cycle 3, 4 and 5. I got frosties from cycle 3 and 5 and had very good fertilisation rates and better quality. My last cycle, cycle 5 was actually my best even though I had just turned 43. I had 9 eggs collected, 6 mature and 5/6 fertilised. Of the 5 on day 3 all were going well and had good grades. Two were transferred and the other three were good enough to freeze. Unfortunately they didn't take when transferred but I do think DHEA may have played a part in having good results in the cycle.

I also upped my coq10 dose and changed to ubiquinol version for those cycles so again that could be a factor. I read the book it's starts with the egg and adopted a lot of the recommendations about avoiding environmental toxins etc. I basically gave up everything including alcohol and was careful about make up, shampoos, hair dye etc etc. it can make you nuts but I wanted to try everything.

The one thing I would say with DHEA is do not take it during stims, I wasn't told on cycle 4 and had the worst cycle as testosterone levels were too high. I diagnosed that myself at my WTF appointment and my FS agreed. Very frustrating as that was a wasted cycle. My FS is also a very busy obstetrician and if I had my chance again I would go to one that is purely an FS. Well I would have gone to wazza had I known about him 2 years ago.

The main suspect ATM is the fuel pump, which to replace would cost us about $1,200 plus labour. We don't have that sort of money, especially after having the vet bills last week. The only place I can pull it from is the IVF fund. I can't remember who said it, but it sucks that life should come down to having a baby or.....

Working from home today and for the rest of the week. Not much else newsworthy happening. Feeling a bit sad and overwhelmed TBH. I feel like we have been under so much stress and so much financial strain for so long now and the light at the end of the tunnel just gets further away each day.

What about getting a second hand one from a wreckers yard or something to save some $ Luv??

Often nothing wrong with parts from the wreckers it's just that the cars are a write off because they've been in accidents.

@Tinachris This is the supplements list from Wazza that I took for 7 months (copy and paste) between Cycle 4 and 5. I added Vit D because I was low and fresh Royal Jelly. I used Saizen in Cycle 4 but not in Cycle 5 as I felt in made no difference in Cycle 4 to my egg quality. However, the benefits of the Saizen can last in the body for 3 months, so I reckon it couldn't have hurt for helping the eggs that were going to be developing in my ovaries in the coming months

For Her: Folic Acid (Megafol brand usually over the counter at the chemist) 1x5mg tab a day, Berroca 1x day (I substituted a Mega B capsule instead), Fish Oil 1000mg's a day, Zinc- 40mg's a day, Vitamin E 500mg's (1000iu) a day, Co-Enzyme Q10 200-400mg's a day (I did 300 mg's a day), Low dose aspirin 100mg's a day, DHEA 3x25mg caps a day, Melatonin 1x5mg capsule at night. I also added Vit D as I was low in it and Fresh Royal Jelly (1/2tsp a day) but you could take it capsule form too.

For Him: Aloe Vera Juice 20mls at night, Zinc 40mg's, Pumpkin seeds >10 per day (I just gave DP 1 tbs of peppita's every day), Folic Acid 5mg's a day, Goji berries 1xtbs a day or 20 mls a day of Goji berry juice, Selenium 100mcg/day.

You can take all of these right up until EPU (except the DHEA, you have to decrease to 1 capsule a day from Day 2 of stims until EPU).

Some of the Girls here on BH buy it online from o/seas. I think they use sites like iherb to purchase it??

So that's the list....and I think and believe it all helped me get my eggs and the Ex's sperm to their maximum quality potential that they could be just as having the Endo Scratch's/Lipoidal Flush and doing the immune meds as part of my protocol made my oven as receptive as possible for an embryo to implant and then grow in if it was ever going to happen.

    Thanks for the responses!
I've done everything wazza/Charlotte recommended since Feb. I just haven't done dhea proper but the growth hormone, the ubiquinol, the melatonin, the luveris, all that "stuff" hasn't changed much. I was hoping Menopur would change something this cycle. Didn't! Sigh.

I must have totally missed those posts about the car being set on fire and the principal covering his eyes shooing out miss@gorgeousgeorge!! Must have been too busy enjoying my wine so I was ****ing myself this morning at the whole thing! I once had a car that was fully insured and I was saving to go o/s and used to leave it completely unlocked in dodgy inner city streets hoping it would get stolen and left burnt out somewhere before I left but no.. A friend offered to come around in the middle of the night and "take it away" but I was too chicken. Glad to know someone who can come to the party when it's next needed tho!

@Tinachris unfortunately there is no absolute recipe for egg quality improvement and that's the bloody problem isn't it. I think taking your vitamins, throwing in some coq10 and eating well and exercising - basically being as healthy as you can is your best bet. I also always tried to eat a higher protein diet cycling as I read it yielded more eggs, didn't always work but worth a try.

Ok ladies day 2 of injections today and I am still spotting, do you think this will sort itself out as I do more injections and my estrogen rises? This is so frucking annoying firstly I can't loose enough lining and now it won't stop. Worried this is going mess things up!
