Sorry @Bongley did they do a medicated cycle just to try something different or were your levels on a cycle without it not great? I will def ask but just wanted more info if there was any.

Thanks honey. It's worth a shot. Maybe my body isn't ready for the embryo on a natural cycle. It def can't hurt, what's another needle between friends.

@Lastchance75 No worries, ask away! Well, as I said the natural cycle was not an option as my period was AWOL, the estrogen/progesterone seemed fine (my levels and lining were good) it just didn't work with normal PGD donor embryos, twice, so they decided to try something different (stim cycle) for the sake of it being different. No other reason. I've only ever had 3 FETs, none of my OE embryos ever made it to freeze.

Ok thanks @Bongley that sounds exactly like me tho my period is fine but I was doing the estrogen/progesterone all seem fine too. The only thing is because I'm travelling overseas for it, it might make timing a little hard with the trigger. Can only ask, might just mean I have to be there a few extra days early which is not ideal.

tracking the follies and waiting for the go ahead to trigger was a pain in the bum, compared to the estrogen/prog cycles anyway.

Oh my gosh, I am actually doing something IVF related!!!

Our first counselling session was this morning and it went great! So great, in fact, that we don't need to do another one by ourselves, and are instead progressing to the session with us and our donor.

    Yay!

@Blossom74 fabulous!!! I found the counseling sessions to be pretty positive and helpful really. Although I was telling Tuxcat that my donor had a terrible one at her very first counseling session with her previous recips. Thank god it didn't put her off!

DH and I were making all kinds of bad jokes on the way in to the city for the session..all the totally inappropriate things you could say

I went out last night with my girlfriends who Ive been mostly avoiding over the ivf sh!ttercoaster and told them about our next stage. It was actually quite liberating and they were excited for us. One of them's brother and SIL have a de baby from Slovakia so she was pretty familiar with the whole thing. It kind of feels a bit weird that all of them have kids that are 10 now and here we are (hopefully) entering the baby stage.

    Hows @Tinachris today?
@Twiglets how are you holding up?
