I'm failing miserably tonight giving kitty her worm tablet - first time for me. she can tell a newbie for sure. I've watched videos, wrapped her in a towel. spits it out. I think I'm going to have to get the applicator tomorrow. she only had one 2 weeks ago at the pet place but they had today down as next due date. then every 3 months. this is harder than giving myself needles for ivf. will try once more tonight.

big day for her too - she met my niece who wanted to give her hugs. first time she's ever met a toddler and my niece can be a bit rough without realising it. she tried dragging her out of the cupboard. trying to explain why that's bad was hard - she didn't seem to listen.

big day for kitty. poor thing

@greenlady I don't think it matters too much as long as you get it up there! I used the applicator but I'm sure a finger is fine. I guess the applicator might help you get it wedged in a bit higher.

I go with the secret weapon of surprise. Wait til your cat is asleep, creep up behind them, crouch down on the floor, and in one swift movement place the palm of your hand over their face jamming your thumb in one corner of their mouth and your middle finger in the corner on the other side. Shove the pill in, clamp their mouth shut and rub their gullet. Gone!
