@Heyside - your experience sounds awful too. I don't think it's a massive amount - it always looks more than it is. Yesterday there was more liquidity to it and it was more red than today whereas today is thicker discharge so far ( probably it's mixed with the pessary residue which I seem to expel every morning - delightful!). I'm just too scared to do a scan due. It's a double edged sword in that it could be reassuring but on the other hand could plunge me into limbo and I just can't take that risk. I guess I'm between a rock and a hard place at the moment!

Anyways... i just wanted to tell you that im a high school teacher (not a special needs teacher or anything just your garden variety teacher) and i have taught lots of asd kids in main****** over the last ten years and they're some of the coolest people ive ever met. Also wanted to tell you about a book by temple grandin, who is high functioning, i think her book is called 'the autistic brain' and i reckon the coolest thing about it, is that its written by an autistic person about what its like to think like a person with an asd brain. (Im probably teaching you to suck eggs) Just thought i would highly recommend that book as part of your research if you havent already read it. And, thanks for everything you do for everyone on here, me included xox

    Thank-you for the compliment...but I'm hardly a celebrity Luv!!!

If I'm known it's more for my infamy around here!!!! Methinks I've probably pi$$ed more people off in my time than actually helped them

Thank-you so much for the book recommendation, I really appreciate it I will be sure to purchase it and read it

Nothing wrong with teachers Luv!! My cousin's one (Primary School...lower grades and has been for well over 20 years)....an excellent one if I do say so myself as I'm sure you are too!!!

Good luck with your upcoming Cycle too (Greece isn't it??). and prayers being sent for a BFFP for you!!!!

@greenlady I can understand your reasoning. Todays blood definitely sounds less though which is good as you said it will always look like more mixed with cm and pessaries etc

@greenlady I hope you are going ok. It seems bleeding is the norm for IVF pregnancies, but I guess that doesn't help when its happening to you. Take care...

AFM - Triggered last night. My E2 said GO so cant fight the hormones! Was told I have 5 mature with 6 shortly behind. So the lady at scan yesterday wasn't clear. EPU tomorrow morning. Anything above 5 is a bonus. Anything above 1 is a blessing. xx

5 mature sounds good to me Luv!!! Hopefully you might pick up a bonus egg or 2 from the 6 behind!!!

and prayers being sent for 5 of the best at EPU tomorrow Luv!!!!

P.S...Yes, I am all over it Luv. I have to be as I'm also dealing with Public system atm which I am grateful for, don't get me wrong, but it also means that DD could easily fall through the cracks and get forgotten about etc so I'm all over all the Gov't Services/Dept's like flies on sh!t!!!!

Yeah...this isn't a Parenting Thread Luv so I'm mindful to keep the talk about DD to the bare minimum even though I know it's ok (I think) to do updates etc. I just try not to. Would rather support you Lovelies on your journey instead

I agree with @Heyside Luv that the fact it's a PGD tested embryo is putting the odds in your favour that it's not a Blighted Ovum again that's causing the spotting this time.

The fact it hasn't gotten any worse or there's no cramping/severe cramping with it is also a good sign IMO. It could also be a breakthrough bleed that happens around the time a period would be due. The only thing you can do is to have another BT done to check levels.

A scan would show that the embryo is in the right place and would also show the sac and fetal pole. I don't think a HB can really be seen until 6w normally or until the HCG reaches a certain level (over 11,000 I think???).

Am and praying all is well and it's just your emby snuggling further in

I'd be pi$$ed off too Luv r.e why you were allowed to transfer if the FS felt your lining wasn't up to par and your E2 was too low etc

Anyhoo...as it was at 8.5 and only went down to 7mm's I'd go again next month based on that in combination with the kitchen sink approach plus estrogen patches etc

I know a lot of the Girls on the NKC threads have done IVIG with Dr M. Maybe some on the SA donor threads too?? Wondering if @Chiefsgirl did it with him too??? Can't quite remember, but that's the next step up from intrallipids.
@Lastchance75 I didn't do ivig but I know dr m does do it for high nk cells. I used neupogen which I have heard can increase lining. My lining definitely increased while on it.

    Default IVF over 40 #34

    @BlondeinBrisvegas
From someone who works in the public health system ( which can be excellent) I can honestly say it's the squeaky wheel that gets oiled most of the time, so keep on "squeaking"!!!!!!

@greenlady jeez why does the whole process have to be stressful!!!!! It's the universe being frucked again!!! You got your amazing BFP so I will not let the universe make anything bad happen, no way!!!!!!

A bit of a calamity for me, I had to have bloods done this morning to track for my NK biopsy, so I'm leaving work this morning and mention I have to go for a BT and a co worker says she'll do my bloods. Please please she says, ( needed her competency). Okay I say, then another nurse joins in "oh what test is it" and looks at the form, and asks the pathologist what the tests are for (estrogen,FSH etc). By now I'm dying, and then the one taking my blood - sees it- Monash IVF, SH!T

She didn't say anything but I'm sure by the time I reached the car park it was common knowledge! ( nurses are a gossipy bunch) I know they meant well and obviously had no idea at the start but damn it!!

    Hi everyone,
I haven't been up to sharing much lately - but have been following you all and feeling your joys/pains!
AFM my final OE cycle failed. Just to kick me when I'm down - had a 3 day migraine...
I have contacted Dr N to set up dates for Athens. So we'll be starting DE mid Sept. I'm a bit numb - not wanting to be too hopeful but really hoping this works as we can only do the trip once. Age is a big factor (as is finance) - someone mentioned their friends all have kids... well my friends are having grand kids! Still praying we get to hold and treasure a little one of our own though!
