@Tinachris - I have only ever had early blasts on day 5 and mainly it's been day 6. The one I have on board now is a day 6.

I've been wanting to ask, how is your DD going?
Apologies in advance Lovelies for the "child talk".......feel free to keep scrolling past......

    She's good Luv

To cut a very long story short....it's a case of therapy and more therapy (OT/ST mainly with a little bit of PT as well as therapy based Playgroup I take her to plus she goes to normal DC as well) with 4-6 monthly Paed follow-up's until she's old enough to be assessed for ASD. I'm pushing to get her to see a Developmental Paed asap so as to get that process started (she'll be turning 2 at the end of August) as God knows how long that may take in the Public Health System???

I've been suspicious for quite some time that she's on the Spectrum as the older she's getting the more the traits/behaviours are beginning to show (which is what happens), so it's only a matter of time. With the Ex's eldest child (from a previous relationship and who is now an adult in his early 20's) already on the Spectrum, it's highly, highly likely that DD is as well. It's also the reason for her Global Delays.

The sooner I can get a diagnosis, the sooner I can get therapies that are specifically aimed/developed for ASD LO's. The earlier the intervention for LO's on the Spectrum the better the outcome for them long term. That's why I'm pushing to get her to see a Developmental Paed asap. In the meantime, I'm researching all that I can so I can help her as much as possible as well as to educate myself about it all as much as possible also

Well...that wasn't a very short story after all was it???

@emski72 I received an email from DrLR this week. What a lovely man. Thanks for recommending him. Elaine is my new nurse.

@BlondeinBrisvegas hi, we havent spoken before but i know all about you (wow that sounds creepy) mostly because ive been reading threads for 2 years and posting since january. I feel like youre a bubhub celebrity and i think its really cool that even though you had a bub 2 years ago, you are still on bubhub helping everyone, which i really admire. Anyways... i just wanted to tell you that im a high school teacher (not a special needs teacher or anything just your garden variety teacher) and i have taught lots of asd kids in main****** over the last ten years and they're some of the coolest people ive ever met. Also wanted to tell you about a book by temple grandin, who is high functioning, i think her book is called 'the autistic brain' and i reckon the coolest thing about it, is that its written by an autistic person about what its like to think like a person with an asd brain. (Im probably teaching you to suck eggs) Just thought i would highly recommend that book as part of your research if you havent already read it. And, thanks for everything you do for everyone on here, me included xox

yes, she's settling in well, thanks. I cleared a spot on a table adjacent to my desk so she sits there at times during the day, as well as sneaking onto my desk and lap. we went to bris on the weekend - I ended up changing my flights to sat & home earlier on sun so was only away 12 hours as I wasn't sure how she'd go for 2 nights (+ leaving out the wet food for that long wouldn't be nice for her). she was really good. a bit extra cuddly sun night & today. but she's just moved off my lap to the couch in front of the heater. I think I need to not talk to her or look too often when she's sitting away as she comes over then. and I'm trying to let her be a bit more independent - with cuddle/lap time & 'nearby' time.

@BlondeinBrisvegas I am pretty sure we like to hear updates on how you and your DD are. You give alot and you also need to take too. Worrying does not end when you see 2 lines on a stick, nor when they come out. Keep pushing, from what Ive learnt at my DS8's school, parents need to be on the front foot. You are all over it.
@greenlady I hope you are going ok. It seems bleeding is the norm for IVF pregnancies, but I guess that doesn't help when its happening to you. Take care...

AFM - Triggered last night. My E2 said GO so cant fight the hormones! Was told I have 5 mature with 6 shortly behind. So the lady at scan yesterday wasn't clear. EPU tomorrow morning. Anything above 5 is a bonus. Anything above 1 is a blessing. xx
