Have done IVF at Hollywood Fertility and cannot recommend them highly enough. The last time we did it we had to pay $7,500 to begin the cycle and received approx $5,300 back from medicare 10-14 days later.
I don't think they do payment plans or such (I think some clinics do) but I am not entirely sure. Our specialist was Dr Turner who is an IVF pioneer, he was also my ob and delivered our 3 boys. Amazing man.

    Welcome!
I have just recently completed my first full IVF cycle with Fertility Specialists South in Applecross. I got a BFP however it ended in a loss at 7 weeks due to a rare form of ectopic. A full cycle was about $7800 (paid upfront) and we got about $5300 back from Medicare after embryo transfer. They were other out of pocket costs though: Anaesthaetist was about $180, Embryo Storage $400, Drugs $170.

I have now just started my first Frozen Embryo Transfer cycle (have 5 frosties) and am currently on CD7.
I was considering moving over to Concept however from the discussions I have had with various ladies, it seems every clinic has their positives and negatives.
Feel free to ask me any questions

Thankyou ladies for your responses. Its nice to talk to other ladies who have experienced it and know the process. I ended up getting my pricelist for our first round of IVF excluding the costs for the aneathatist, medications and gyaenacologist.

Does anyone have any tips? We've had 4 failed IUI's and this will be our first try at IVF

I'm at Concept, had my DS two years ago with them too. What kind of info were you looking for?
It's a busy clinic but I've found them helpful and the nurses are nice. When I had pain after my EPU they called me each day to check on me.

Cost wise it depends what kind of cycle you do, I think ours was $8.5K with $5300 back from medicare too. They do have a full costs list that I have somewhere...

Hi Flower78, do you know the cost for the aneathatist, medications and gyaenacologist by any chance? I have the price list but it excludes the above

My private health paid for all of the anaesthetist fees (approx $300) and I think my FS charged about $150 to manage the cycle. Medications are mostly included in a fresh cycle but you pay a $38 dispensing fee per medication and I think I had four different meds in my recent cycle.

In an IVF cycle they are included. Before one they at $75 done at Concept. The full assessment ultrasound I had at women's imaging in Subiaco and that was $230.
