    What a disgrace! Can't give him a passport, but can't give him a visa because his a citizen???! Stupid beauracracy!

    Yes, that's what I read too.

    Signing one form to indicate you're a parent... who knows where that may lead. She might then be regarded as a parent for other purposes too - eg child support. And she'd probably, at minimum, be required to consent to passport renewals for the bub too (every 5 years for children).

    The forms are now only online - and STILL just have 'Mother' and 'Father'! No Parent 1 and Parent 2 yet!

    I called the passport office, and they said to put DS's other mum under 'Father'!
