Thanks for your responses everyone, I feel he gets plenty of opportunity to go and do his own thing and have time out, he also gets plenty of sleep! I understand he must be tired and less patient at the end of the day I just wish he wouldn't be so negative in front of our children. We definitely need to work on our communication. Probably more on my side!!
I think you both need to sit down after the kids are in bed, and calmly discuss expectations of each other in regards to parenting, what your individual needs are to be the best parent you both can be, and work out a plan. Tjis is not a one sided convetsation. He doesn't get to take with no give...there needs to be give and take on both sides of the relationship. It sounds like it's just hit boiling point due to a lack of communication, though. Good luck, OP.
