Default Fertility tests before IVF/ egg / embryo freezing

Hello, I am planning to start either IVF or egg/ embryo freezing (with donor sperm). I am single so I have not ttc yet. Therefore I do not really know how healthy my fertility is.

Are there any tests that I should do to see if I have any infertility issues to treat before starting the IVF or egg/ embryo freezing?

How much time should I budget to get these tests done? I am hoping to start IVF or egg/ embryo freezing ASAP. Thank you!

Hi if u see a fertility specialist which u will before doing iui or freezing they will send u off to have blood tests and internal ultrasound to see what your body is doing. They will do your egg count like how many eggs you have in your storage. Std's and bunch of other things..

Yes don't bother as the FS will do the full set anyway. Just make your appointment with them ASAP.

I don't mean to be harsh but at 39 you're pretty much lowering your odds every week you wait
