I try and get time with each of them in. DD4 is home still so she always has my attention then I take it in turns which child is coming to do the groceries with me, clothes shopping or even a trip down to the corner store. They love the 1 on 1 even if it's only for 10 minutes. Homework I do 1 on 1 so they can fill me in on their day too.

I found # 4 just slotted in with minimal disruption so to speak.

#5 however has been a huge adjustment. The reason I mention this is it has made me realise it really depends on the baby. #4 was easy going, fed 3-4 hourly and slept through the night. # 5 is almost 4 months old and still feeds hourly during the day and is very clingy. It has made life very challenging with 4 other kids to work around and leaving thd house brings much anxiety. So it could really go either way depending on the child.
