Rosie8888 im a high school english teacher (so one would hope i can express myself in writing) nevertheless, its lovely to hear positive feedback. :-)
On information sheet it says $2310 for FET, OOP is estimated to be $1859 with top insurance first cycle then $1156 on Subsequent cycle with Safety net has been met. OOP for uninsured is $2287 first FET then $1585 subsequent FET.
Btae. We did a couple of freeze all and got no refund and then had to pay for a FET. It is a rip off. I should write to them about it as I think it's unreasonable. They save the work they'd do on a FET and get paid for PGD. Also very tough to pay for an ET if you have nothing to transfer.
@sumteng I'm glad you are going well. Morphology scan is exciting - we had ours a couple of weeks ago. Over an hour of them scanning bub.
Relaxin is fun stuff. I thought it would be good as it's so close to "relaxing" it sounded nice, but the joint pain can be ridiculous. Like you though, I see it as a sign bub is growing and doing well. I've got anterior placenta so am just starting to feel kicks at 24 weeks.
We are going to shop in a couple of weeks, after antenatal class.
Keep well and enjoy the scan.
Surely if your embryo doesn't thaw and you don't have a transfer, then you get a refund from QFG?
Also what's the deal with the lifetime Medicare cap? Is that just for IVF and if so what is the cap value?
What do other clinics charge for FET?
I completely agree... If you've a done a PGD freeze all cycle then you shouldn't be paying again!
