@gorgeousgeorge can I just say that I have a really good feeling for you on that one!
You know it's funny how we can see things way more clearly for others than for ourselves!

I read with attention your background and all the reasons why u went for de. I've been following you for a while now, but didn't know all that.

It makes a lot of sense. I'm a really down to earth person and so are you: Pros vs cons then decision. Bang.

Considering what you want in life and given the parameters, I def think u made the right decision.

And I can't see any reason whatsoever why this wouldnt work for u. You're young, your issues have been identified and addressed... I genuinely think this is your time.

    Should we bet?

I can't wait to hear about what will probably be the most exciting and intense journey of your life!! Xx

@Keepontryin13 thanks hun for the precious info.
    Your journey really is inspiring!

My plan will prob be to stay between epu and transfer for a small holiday so I only have to go twice I guess...

One question that I have really is for the first appt: everyone mentioned something like 90min with the Fs but then, do they run some tests for the couple and if so, how long does it take?

Just need to know how long in total the whole thing will take and if we can book a flight on the arvo or rather at night

@LillyM where are you flying from? I know Charlotte did a scan and it was a general chat etc and took around an hour but when we first moved to QFG last year we did have some blood tests and it took a bit longer. Not sure if you can overnight the night before have an early appointment then fly back in the arv? Depends where you flying form I guess?

    I'm flying from Sydney.
Yeah was thinking arriving the night before and flying back either on the afternoon or evening depending on how long it takes.

I guess I'll wait for @ange1111 appt next week to get to know how long it takes approximatively

I haven't seen him yet, but that's what I've read. He is pretty amazing and better than any FS out there.

Here are his OOP costs someone posted on this thread before:

What a man!) to the QFG office & introduced us to a lovely nurse, he gave her a brief run down of our situation, then left us with her. She then spoke to us in general a little bit about IVF which I think is mandatory bcos she acknowledged that we probably knew it all already. Then she went thru our cycle plan, took us to a pathology girl who took a heap of bloods, and then went thru all our scripts.

We were with the nurse there for 90 minutes too... So all up 3 hours. We basically flew in the night before, got a taxi from the airport bcos it was already almost 9pm. Our appt was at 1045 the next day. We were finished by 2pm, then went for a drink (we needed it!), and then some food, then caught the train to the airport in time for our 9.30pm flight. I'd purposely booked a late flight back so we'd have time to relax & eat dinner in Brisbane after our appt.

We stayed at a nice little hotel on the same street as Wazza's office- literally about a 3 minute walk up the hill! And we're able to buy tickets for the train to the airport from reception. The train station is also only about 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel we were at. One of the girls in here recommended the hotel to us & it was perfect, not expensive & close to everything. We'll stay there every time we need to go up now.

Thanks @Charlie74, very useful info, exactly what I was after!! xxx

For all the ladies seeing wazza and/or Charlotte I can't recommend them both enough. I was with Charlotte (kinda still am) and she's lovely.
