    Default Help with test results

Hi everyone, just wanting some help please. My nurse called with my blood results today, yesterday when the bt was done I was 9dp6dt. My hcg is 70 and she painted a very bad picture. It's got me a bit down, so I was wondering if it's really as bad of a result or is she just being cautious? This is a pic of my test from last night. I am really worried about what she said but feel like my test is pretty dark.

I know at my ivf clinic they like hcg to be over 100 but it's more about the rate of doubling than the starting number. You could have a late implanter.
Do you have another blood test to do?

My clinic also likes over 100 but 70 is a good start. As pp said its more about the doubling rate than the early number. Get another blood test tomorrow if you can. That will give you a better sense of where things are heading. If things are doubling perfectly then that's a good sign but a one off blood test doesn't say much.
FWIW my hcg was 220 11dp5dt. She is 1 this week

Don't stress about the first number, the first number is irrelevant. All that matters is that it doubles every 48 hours.
I didn't have IVF at all but all of my healthy pregnancies have had low HCG to start with but rise fine. This pregnancy at 13dpo was 33, my doctor was not very positive at all. It was rising fine and I'm now 11 weeks.

I wouldn't worry. At 5 weeks my HCG was 77. I'm now 17 weeks and everything is going well. It's more about how they rise over 48 hours. Good luck and try not to stress.

Thank you!! That has cheered me up. I have another blood test Saturday and another Monday. They wanted me to do another tomorrow but I wasn't able to make it there around work.
