This forum has been a great support for me and I'm sure many others, and I hope that my success and journey inspires and provides a positive support for others on the same path of DE.

Lissimo you will always feel stupid if you think others are out to get you. We are all here for the same reason, to support each other and provide valuable information about our experience in Greece.

You did ask repetitive and basic questions you could have 'googled' .. I spoke to you on the phone and told to you about my wonderful experience and my success at Embryoland, but you chose another clinic and didn't take my advice anyway. So I wouldn't blame strangers for your own feelings, you have to control that. I am alone doing this alone too, and I have to support myself most of the time, you cannot rely on others always and you need to develop a strong sense of self, or you won't be any good for your future child. They need a strong role model and someone they can rely on.

I've had a few miscarriages and I know how terribly heart wrenching that can be. I hope that the next time you try is a successful attempt.

To the rest of you reading- congratulations, good luck and don't stop until you get what you want !!!

Be positive !! I'm planning my trip for next year, I'm going late March/Early April, not sure...see how much flights are...It's scary doing it all again, I would go next month if I could afford it.

Hey @gorgeousgeorge, I had PGS testing done on our cycle with Dr Nikos. He said that he doesn't do it often and I don't think that many FS do with donor but we asked because our history of chromosomally abnormal miscarriages we've had. I'm so thankful that we did, out of 5 embryos that made it to blast we only ended up with 2 normals. It's one of those things personally I'll always do regardless of age of donor just as a safety net, not only for emotional reasons but also the cost of transferring non viable embryos. We tested at day 3 and we're all set to go for a transfer on day 5. There is a set cost for 4 embryos then you pay per embryo after that point. Best of luck to you Hun!!! ❤️❤️❤️ If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I'm guessing it varies by clinic but I believe we paid $2500 euro for 4 embryos then additional for our 2 additional we tested.

One thing i'm not looking forward to is the clexane, daily injections of blood thinner into my belly. It was blue by the time I got to 12 weeks, since I was told to take it until then by my obstetrician. It apparently also " can help when there's a high risk the blood might get too thick- e.g. when high doses of estrogen are used". I was also advised that it helped prevent blood clots, deep vein thrombosis and helped with blood flow to the uterus.

But....I will do whatever it takes since I used it last time, so I will follow the same protocol as advised by my Doctors. I'm excited since its only about 6 months away. I've asked a friend to come along so she can see Athens and we are planning to go to a few places in Europe, not sure where yet, maybe Turkey?

Good luck to everyone on this wonderful journey. I really hope to come back with a brother or sister for my son. Just no quadruplets, please!!

I'm heading back to Greece in October for project Sibling. We have two frozen embryos there, so we will transfer them.

I need to read back a few pages to see where everyone is at

I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.

I looking forward hearing where everyone else is at
