Default TTC #3 "the journey" ~ General Chat

    Hi all!

I thought I would start a thread for those of us TTC our third baby, as I know there a a few of us in the JUNE/JULY TTC threads! This isn't to take away from them, but to also open up a space where we can talk about our journeys, the highs, the lows, our other kids, age gaps, etc., pretty much anything really!

Looking forward to getting to know some soon to be third time mummies! xx

We've just started TTC #3 -- DS was born in 2013& conceived via IVF, then DD in 2014 was a lovely surprise, so I feel very new to TTC even though it's our 3rd!

DH works away so only home every 3rd week so we won't be able to 'try' every cycle... Im hoping I 'o' by CD16 this cycle as he's home tomorrow but fly's out the early ours of CD17 & next cycle doesn't look like it will match!

Okay, a little bit about me/us:

    Married to DH for 9.5 years;
    DD1 6yo
    DD2 4yo

Both conceived first go, feel very blessed to have my two beauties!

I have always wanted a third, and DH would not budge; and then in February, he came to me and said he was ready, and he genuinely wants to add to our family; God bless him!

This will be our fourth month TTC, which is very hard for us given how easy the girls were - in saying that though I think I messed the ovulation dates up the first two month - cycle was a bit crazy!

I should O on the 12th July... last month I used the ClearBlue digital OPKs, and this month I'll use the ClearBlue digital OPKs again but the one with the dual hormone detector in it.

We would also love a boy, but of course are more than happy with another little girl as well!

I try not to think about the age gap, and the fact that it's getting bigger and bigger; but sometimes I wonder - but than again, if we're not actually bothered by it, than no one else should be either!

Hi all. My husband and I are thinking about a third. We have 2 beautiful girls nearly 6 and 3. A bit would be lovely, but we are just thinking about extending our family and would be happy either way. I am a little reluctant this time round. I was so excited to try for our 2nd and give our 1st a sibling. Couldn't of been happier having 2 girls to share that sister bond. I was also lucky enough to fall quickly with the girls. I've been off my pill since April but up until now I have avoided those certain times of the month because I want to be 100% that adding another baby is the right decision for our family. Other than a period app that tracks when I'm due on I have never tracked ovation dates etc but I am also now thinking about the age gap. The girls are 3 years apart which could not be more perfect. But my little one will be 3 next month so we are already looking at a bigger gap by around a year.

    Hi!

How is everyone going? Who else has kids on school holidays?!

Well it's CD14 for me, and o got a flashy have on the OPK this morning, (see my post in July thread, LOL), but it is 5 days earlier than I predicted based on my last three cycles! We are going away this weekend, and staying with friends Friday and Saturday night - damn it - but hopefully will get in a BD session Saturday!

    Stay strong mummies! x

We are on holidays but only from Kindy/Daycare (occasional care closes on holiday)

DH flew out this morning & I haven't 'o' yet... So I think this month is a bust! DH is home next when I have AF so will get him to get is 'stuff' checked to see where we are at, I have an appointment booked with our clinic in early August as we have frozen embies so will see if we need it.
