I have a cx5 and love it but I do question how we will fit another baby seat in the back once Bub #3 comes along. I suspect we will have to buy new seats that are smaller - one will be a booster as my oldest will be 5.

There is actually a really good amount of boot space. We've put 2 large prams, nappy bags and a handful of shopping bags in with ease.

Our last 3 cars (including current) have been Mazdas and I can't fault them. I also don't know of anyone else having issues with their Mazdas.
What car seats have you got in the back? I need to figure out what to get to fit my cx5 - Tia

I don't have a cx5, just know others that do.
I know one of them went to a baby shop, where they were able to recommend what seats would fit. Sorry I couldn't help.

The Santa fa is amazing - it's big enough that we all feel we have the space needed without being to big where it feels uncomfortable to park etc. When using the 2 back seats there is very little boot space. That doesn't bother me to much as the 2 extra seats I don't have permanently up.
I went to 2 separate baby shops trying to get a seat configuration that was both safe and comfortable and no matter why we did my 7 yr old couldn't fit between the 2 seats. We purchased the safe n sound compact seat for our third as its the smallest on the market and then we have our 4 yr old in the safe n sound (maxi rider I think it is - I can double check in the morning if you need) and there is no way another seat would fit as I said even my 7 yr old struggled to fit. Other than space I really loved it and was sad to see it go (or though that may have been more to do with the fact I actually gave birth in it so it holds a special place in my heart lol)
My advice would be if you are even considering a third you should maybe look at something with slightly more room.
Happy shopping - the search drove me crazy trying to find the perfect car
