@pingc383 - oh hun so sorry that line is lighter tonight, we are all on such a roller coaster of emotions. I am really hoping that things become clearer before your bt and a nice strong line appears that you have no doubt its a bfp.
@katham - Big hugs hun how frustrating to be on such a high yesterday and then you get this news today, thinking of you hun. Try to stay positive if you can though hun you are definately bot out yiu may have 3 strong embies that continue to develop strongly from here. Why will you have to have a 3 day transfer if yiu don't mind me asking? If 3 are still growing can you not wait until day 5, some people believe you can make a better decsion at that point as to whixh has the most chance. I know thats nerve wracking though as you might have a drop off again. I hope things go well from here and the right path becomes clear xx

@pingc383 it would be lovely to be pleasantly surprised at BT. I really hope you are. I can understand you not feeling it though...sometimes you don't. I have found the round where I've had the most "symptoms" are the rounds my periods have been causing those pregnancy symptoms. I've only been pregnant once, but I was one of those people who felt nothing. It made me laugh when @hopefull29 wrote about IVFers loving morning sickness...I craved morning sickness because I felt nothing and was constantly stressed nothing was happening. (Now Iooking back I was soooo glad I didn't get morning sickness!!)
Anyway, this could be your round. Or it may not. Either way we're all here for the ride xx
@katham oh hun I feel for you. I know that feeling of disappointment, it's awful to have expectations of bigger numbers then have them crashing down.
That's was me last round. 12 collected and 12 mature and only 3 fertilized with 7 disintegrating during the injection process. I was heartbroken. Those three made it to day 4 (where one was put back in) and one made it to day 5 to be frozen. It's good to know that one is showing signs of developing already and the others are on their way. Usually they don't say much to me about how they're going saying they all look pretty similar.
It's ok to feel sad about it. Disappointment is part of this journey. Maybe by tomorrow you'll have slept on it and feel a little more hopeful.
I feel sad then think "no, I have to cheer on those embies that are trying their best to develop". Like I owe it to them. I imagine them as possible children and don't want to give up on them. Ah dear that sounds a bit crazy!
Anyway, big hugs. And I hope you feel better soon xx

Hey Heyside, last time i had two eggs by day 2, so they decided to do a day 3 transfer with the strongest (and by day 3 number 2 hadn't made it through the night). So I'm probably feeling like it will be the same again and not feeling hopeful that there are other options. I so badly want frosties for more options but last time when they told me no 2 had gone, all my hope disappeared and i felt that let down the transferred embryo because i felt like it wouldn't work as it was been placed in me.... the disappointment took over and I just don't want that this time.
Ping mentioned that her clinic only does day 3's...im surprised at all the differences in the clinics! Like only doing certain test, ET etc on certain days of the week..my clinic does everything every day of the week besides no ultrasounds on Sundays. And they have an after hours emergency number....I can't believe that with how much it costs that some clinics do so little....this is a 24/7 situation that doesn't stick to any timeframes...shame on the clinics that aren't flexible.

Thanks, everything you said was what i needed to hear. Thanks for sharing your story it helped a lot. I needed to know that im not the only one going through this and that its okay to be disappointed. I know I'll be back more positive tomorrow but i still have to wait until the next results and hope the little ones are ok. The lovely embryologist promised to talk to them for me so that helped a little. When i have a ET (being ++) my BT is the 8/8 which is meant to be good luck...so finger crossing.
And it doesn't sound crazy to fight and care for your possible future child...what are great way to think about it 😄

You're so very welcome @katham. The lovely ladies here picked me up when I felt shattered at my last cycle. Xx

Oh your story of the embryologist reminded me of a nurse at Genea who said to me as I walked out of ET to talk to my belly...it helps them grow. That embryo became my daughter. Hope that embryologist does lots of talking @katham, love it xx

@lotsathoughts I am gonna talk to my little embryo like crazy from your advice 😄
I will admit that after the last ET i drew a small love heart on my belly and kept drawing over it until the BT. It was like my little love spot sending my hope through. ..will probably do it again this time 😉😛 It felt like my little guilty secret that was representing my hope.

@katham - I know its hard not to feel to disappointed but please don't give up hope. Our second egg pick up I got 11 eggs and only 2 fertilised - one of them is now snoozing away in bed and is our beautiful 3.5 year old. For what its worth I actually requested our embryos to only be grown to day 3 this time. I have never had any success with day 5 embryos (even double transfer and also during the thaw) but I have fallen pregnant twice from a day 3 transfer.

The tww is doing my head in already! Only 4dp3dt and I'm already clawing the walls!

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind a bit more spam. Today's line is so much darker!! Yay!! Wish today was BT to confirm it. Then maybe I'd be able to chill a little.

@katham that's lovely about the love heart. I think it's nice to channel your energy into something. And would be a good story to tell a future baby X
@MAQ247 when's your BT? Wish we could fast forward these days.
@hopefull29 wohoooo! Your lines are fab! And you're so close to confirming it all. Good luck with your final day of distraction.

AFM I'm feeling quite calm. I think it helps knowing I've got lots of frosties now. I'm not sure if I think it's worked or not this time. Just trying not to think about it too much and stay calm. The last two nights I hadn't been able to sleep but then last night I finally slept! I felt like it was the hormones keeping me up. Hopefully I'm over that.
Have a good day everyone. Sending love to your bellies xx
