Default A shout out to the Polish hubbers!

I ate Goblaki as a child but I've never made it. My Dad is here visiting and I'd reallt like to make it for him. I've googled extensively but would love to here your recipes if you'd be happy to share.

this is from a book called rose petal jam. it's the recipe we use when making them. I prefer mine with mushroom sauce instead of tomato sauce though!!

It's all good and readable thank you! So many of the recipes online cook the rolls in the tomato sauce rather than on their own - I'm glad I asked! xx

This is exactly how we eat it, with a tomato based sauce. But the local Polish club serve it with a mushroom sauce! I can't bring myself to try it that way... Have any of you ever had it with mushrooms?!

Oh wait, just saw that you do the mushroom sauce. I love mushrooms but have never had it with Golabki.

So do you cook it in the tomato sauce, or cook as above and then serve with the sauce over the top?
