Lol but not an acceptable main meal component. Bacon is like a condiment or side salad

Not a vego but I had the same thought lol.

My DH would also say that bacon is condiment/addition to meal - not a main 'meat'.

Oh, DP will happily have toasties or eggs on toast for dinner, that's not an issue, it's really just soup that is a non-meal. He doesn't expect a property cooked meal every single night. We would actually go broke if we did have proper meals every night as DP and his boys are big eaters (very active and sporty, always hungry!).

Oh and DP does cook. When we both worked full time he actually cooked 80% of the time.

My DH is a nightmare. He's coeliac so no gluten (which is fine). However, he also won't eat any seafood at all (he claims 'seafood' counts as one food item). He won't eat soup and things like lentils, chick peas etc.

Basically everything has to be carbs - gf pasta, white rice (not brown) etc.

He's better than when we met. At that point the only meat was sausages and mince. Plus, he refused to eat leftovers.
