We will need to wait a while longer to read the grand finale recap from Rosie....

    http://www.mamamia.com.au/rosie-waterland-recaps/

An excerpt: "Rosie gave us a way to feel smart about watching a dumb show. She looked at The Bachelor through a feminist lens, subverting the wildly sexist and regressive values for which it stood: a beauty contest of women competing for the attention and ultimately love of a fairly ordinary (and occasionally awful) bloke.

She called it out for what it was: a glorified reality show version of polygamy. But she did it with intelligence and humour and respectful affection for the contestants, for Osher as host and for the whole network of producers and production assistants that she knew worked hard to make an engaging piece of entertainment."

Poor Nikki. They were clearly trying to lead everyone astray. nikki interviews where she was 'accidentally' talking in present tense. And Alex saying today that she hadn't spoken to him since it finished.

But I did see a photo today of Richie and Alex's luggage in the back of a car in Bali, suggesting that they left together.

I can understand being annoyed at the editing (I know I am) but I'm surprised anyone actually cares about these last 3 idiots who think this is the way to meet someone.

I don't feel sorry for Nikki for that exact reason. the only person I feel sorry for is poor Alex's son!
Sounds like you LOVE to HATE watching.

How could you not feel sorry for Nikki though? It's a pretty standard human trait to feel compassion and empathy for those we see in pain.

Were you you just in a bad mood last night?

    Christ!
We're not all dumb, we know the score and don't need it spelled out for us.

This is what happens when Australia takes an American show and makes a carbon copy for a vastly different audience.
They would have done much better to tailor it to the Aussie psyche.
Australiains aren't as cut throat and into one upmanship as the Americans.

I would do away with home town visits, go from final three to one and then do the 'meet the parents' after his decision was made.
Thats just for the final weeks, the all along they should really look over how they make the girls compete too.

Anyway, obviously after three seasons there's something in it people like, between the contestants and viewers. It just needs a more personal Aussie touch and it could be great.

They've been meeting in secret for three months or so now, I think when they hit the real world he will be in for a revelation.

Mainly a bit more of this.

It's going to be nauseating to see pictures of her all over social media now that the show has aired. Blergh

I read an article last night that said he hasn't met her son yet! Jesus, he's in for a big shock! I give this relationship 3 months tops.
