hi everyone! .. it's been 7 long yrs since hubby and i did our last cycle (IVF #4, 8 text book day 5 blastocysts - 2 transferred - twins (lost 1 twin at 11wks 3 days) - daughter is now 6) ...
We are doing our last and final FET - I'm currently in the 2WW with 2 embies transferred on Friday 12th August 2016 ...
Good luck to everyone!!!
I have a question did anyone get really bad period like cramps a week before their blood test ? I'm taking 2x 90 mg of crinone and 3x 2 mg on progynova and my cramps are so bad at the moment I think my period is coming :/
Once again apologies for those of you who are on both threads...
Just checking in, glad to see everyone is traveling along well. I had a BT on friday (cycle day 15) and my levels were still baseline! This has never happened to me before... I have always naturally ovulated, just later than most. My nurse had a chat with the doctor and they have put me on Clomid and I have pregnyl shots too (but I may not need to use them..??)
Has anyone had a similar protocol? I am just not quite sure about this as I have only ever done natural FET. I have press studs on my acupuncture points to stimulate my ovaries and my hormones. I am just hoping something starts to happen soon.......
I have started drinking peppermint tea and just 'googled' that this could be effecting ovulation?? oops.....
So our 2nd embryo didn't make it. We have 1 frozen - they said its grade 2. Now we need to decide if we do a FET transfer in sept or do we do a full cycle to try and get some more factoring in my age. I'm thinking another cycle with the hope to get some more eggs so then i just have to do FET moving forward.
I'm not sure why that would happen @julianicholson, but with IVF it seems anything can and does. I don't think I ovulated this cycle at all! I'm at cd31 waiting for AF and I'm never more than 26 day cycle.
I hope the clomid gets things going.
I got lots of cramps on Progynova/ progesterone pessaries xxsmiley93xx.
@mish239 such a tricky decision, if it was me I think I would do a stim cycle and try and get more embys to freeze and then proceed with FET. Fewer variables (generally speaking) and generally kinder to our poor bodies. Good luck with whatever decision you make its a tough ride.
@Flower78 I agree wholeheartedly whenever I get asked the question if I have a 'normal' cycle I am like what is that? I have tended to have longer cycles, I guess my FS and nurses have never really reacted to it, but this time seems different. Questions tomorrow morning, hopefully everything has woken up hehe.
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
