Mish that's so unusual. With ivf I thought the levels would always be over 1500. Mine were over 8000 by the retrieval day lol

Yer I'm not sure. I know they were worried about my protesterone levels so I had to have a blood test for that this morning but now they say my estrogen levels are to high. As long as retrevial gives me something to transfer at a later date I will take it as a positive x

Its funny isn't it if only we knew these policies and procedures before we started to cycle with a clinic we could assess them to see if they fit in well with our own situations. I know I wouldn't have chose my first clinic as I was lucky to ever get a transfer with them.

Sorry for no personals I'm still in bed ATM.. I thought the rule of thumb is that each follicle produces roughly 1000 estrogen?

Perhaps they meant 15000 Mish? 1500 would be for 1-2 mature eggs only I thought, or maybe they use a different measure? I'm a poor responder and I still get about estrogen levels of 5000.

I've heard ladies with OHSS who get pregnant feel so awful til 12 weeks sometimes so certainly best avoided, but it sure is disappointing.

Ok just spoke to the scientist and I got a really nice guy he explained everything to me and had the time for me. We have 1 morala that looks good again we are not quite at day 5 yet so I am not worried it isn't yet compacting. We then have a rough looking morala and 3 that aren't so good. We are quite happy with this if this one pulls through we will be so pleased if not then this whole cycle has been a dud! Putting it to the back of our mind now as we are off to celebrate our wedding anniversary and what will be will be xx

Lovely @Heyside hope you enjoy celebrating your anniversary.

It's so good when the scientists take the time to explain how it's all going. Hope your little morula keeps growing as it should. It's positive that they said it was "good" as my FS said to me that embryologists are usually pessimistic. I think of them as realistic, I'd rather hear how it is than get my hopes up. So that "good" one is hopefully going to be your special one for this round. Nice work!

@mish239 try not to get too disheartened (easier said than done), If they are cancelling the transfer there is a very good reason for it. Ultimately they are trying to make sure your precious emby is getting transferred into the safest and most ideal conditions possible. Rest up and look after yourself mentally and physically.

Heyside sounds like you have at least 1 great one there one good thing about stopping pregnyl and starting crinone is that I can now poas lol. I just wanted to test out the last pregnyl booster so I did a cb digital yesterday (3 days post 1500 pregnyl) and it was positive then again this morning 4 days post it was negative. But the frer was still quite positive. How long does it take for 1500 pregnyl to leave your system on a frer?
