Yayyy! Great news xx
Ladies, does anyone know when I should stop taking CoQ10? Is it ok to be taking it throughout the stims, egg collection, egg transfer and the 2ww? The nurses aren't sure and my FS is difficult to get a hold of.. Has anyone taken it and gotten their BFP or can it interfere or cause problems? Does anyone know at all? I'm taking 300mg of it (the ubiquinol one)...
Thanks Tinachris. Not on melatonin or dhea.. But I will be asking my FS about dhea if this cycle fails.
So day 9 scan was this morning. They counted 15 follies. 3 follies were between 5-10mm, 6 follies were 12mm, 5 follies were 15mm and 1 follies is 17 mm. They reckon I should b able to get the 15mm and the 12mm ones. EPU is likely to be this Friday, but won't know until blood test on Wed. Which means transfer is on Mon. I hope they can get at least 8 eggs, altho last time of the 8 only two had eggs.. If I can get 8, they can do half IVF and the other half icsi.. But if I get below 8, they do icsi on all of them.. Just wanna see if my hubby's sperm can fertilise the eggs on their own...
Last cycle I had 3 follies at 16mm, 1 follie at 20mm, 1 follie at 22mm, 1 follie at 10mm and a follie at 12 mm... Estrogen on day 16, day before retrieval, was 5,600.... Then on day of retrieval there were only 2 eggs.. What do u think ladies, do you think I'll lose the 17mm one and the ones between 5-10mm? How much do follies grow between now and Friday? Trigger shot of 10,000 units of pregnyl is on Friday.. Last time I had EPU on day 17.. This time it's day 13.. I am on saizen, but my last dose is tomorrow.
@pingc383 - I agree with @Tinachris, the CoQ10 is fine to continue taking. Sounds like a good scan this morning hun I think by Friday those 12mm and 15mm follies will definitely be ready. Has your DH got any male factor issues hun, if not then I would request to do ivf and let nature take its course if that's what you want, I understand they want the best outcome and if you only had 2 last cycle that made sense but if you have 6 or 7 then ask about it. On average they say a follie will grow 1-2mm every day so there is a risk you might loose your 17 but that will be at the benefit of the smaller follicles catching up. Good luck hun hoping for a good outcome for you xx
Many thanks Heyside hun! xx my hubby doesn't have fertility issues (although the DNA damage of his sperm using tunnel assay was 17%, so he was put on supplements months ago, so she said this may have gone down).
My trigger is on Wed and collection on Friday. Do you know if the follicles will continue to grow after trigger? I wonder if they grow even more than 1-2mm on growth hormone.. I guess we'll see..
I've heard 1-2mm as well hun, I don't know if they grow more after the trigger but it will mature the eggs so they can be collected. I would think the little ones won't get there but the others should. As Heyside says you might lose the big one.
I got confirmation my PGS testing will start on 1st August. Hoping my cycle stays regular so we can have the results in time to do a FET straight after if we get any normal embies!
