I'm new to this site. I literally just had my trigger injection for my first IVF cycle. I go in Monday morning for egg collection and then eggs will be fertilised for 5 days.
Everything went really well for the injections. I only started on gonal f 150ui last Saturday (1 week ago), then had a scan / blood test on weds and advised to start the orgalutran injection, then scan / blood on Friday showed all looked great and I would go in Monday! I was surprised with how quick it had been, I thought I wouldn't go in until later next week. My fingers are crossed everything goes well and we get a few that make it to day 5!
goodluck to all those starting their process or in the 2ww.
Just got great news early!! The embryo is doing really well and is even compacting early yay
I had my trigger injection too, but just to ovulate so I can do my first FET on Thursday
I hope the EPU goes smoothly and the embies you make grow all the way to your BFP!!!!
Are you getting your day 5s PGD tested?
My transfer will be a day 3 bcos my FS doesn't do day 5s
At Fridays scan I had a about 20 ranging in sizes. Hopefully I get enough away to freeze some too. I'm not sure what the 5 day PGD tested means?
My clinic prefers 5 days as they have made it to blastocyst stage then.
Will see see how is goes, I'm remaining positive but am well aware the chances of it not happening first go.
Good luck for your frozen transfer. Do you just have an injection to ovulate and they pop an embryo in? Which clinic are you at?
Usually they do natural FETs (so they scan and do bloods and wait until you ovulate and then 3 days after that pop the day 3 embryo in), but I'm with a low cost clinic who does 1 scan and 1 blood test, which means they have to time it by giving me a medicated cycle, so I was on 50 IU of Gonal f and triggered me yesterday with ovidrel. I should ovulate on Monday..
Good luck to you too!!
