    Default Minor bleeding, no cramps

I'm 6 weeks, 3 days and have had some bleeding last night and today. Haven't had any cramps with it though. Doctor sent me for a blood test but said not to bother with US as it's possibly too early to find a heart beat that way. Has anyone else had this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?

An internal ultrasound should be able to detect a heartbeat. I had one 5w6d and all was ok even though I had spotting..

This was the exact case for me too with ds. I had spotting, internal detected a hb at 5+5wks. No reason was found for spotting in my case but it continued for about 4wks

All 4 of my pregnancies have had hb detected by 6+2 (or maybe 6+4...incl 2 angels)

I had bleeding at 6w - ob said the same thing to me, just sit tight, went away same day. Happened again at 10w, so he got me to come in for a scan.
Am now 29w with a healthy bub by all accounts. Try not to stress, its no good for you or bubs and it won't change anything xx

Thankyou for your responses, you've helped me relax a bit. I'm spotting on and off this afternoon but not much and still no pain. I think I will go to my regular GP tomorrow to get a US referral.
