    Default I am.....#17

thanks ladies. I restrained myself and have held off. no use doing something foolish in anger. once it's done it can't be undone etc.

just sat down and they've got more than 15 employees so dh will call fair work shortly.

they didn't even have his paperwork with a payout figure to give him! that's coming on Monday apparently! I'm peeved dh didn't ream them and demand that on the spot but anyway.

will wait and see what the payout stuff looks like on Monday and argue it if need be. he's entitled to 6 weeks pay, not 1 week as we suspect the employer will try and give him.

if they want to be anuses about it, we'll go to fair work re unfair dismissal and the ATO re the unpaid super.

even more tantalizingly, I've just realised I have their social media password as have successfully logged in. can't be too obvious but tempted to change the profile pic (currently their logo) to a picture of a poo. or change the password altogether

A$$$$$$hooooles!!! Omg well done you for showing restraint, I would be similarly p1ssed. How is your DH? And how ridiculously unprofessional that they didn't have any paper work etc. that is so so low. Big hugs xx

    thanks babe.

he's feeling pretty sh!t as expected. we've argued as I feel he didn't go out with the bang i wish he had. it's like you save up all the good stuff to say at the end and he didn't let his boss have it. I'm not talking about shouting or swearing, more just calling them to account for stuff that wasn't handled correctly.

plus I phoned fair work and the person I spoke with was as helpful as tits on a bike. wasn't able to really provide any actual advice, just answered maybe a lot. wtf!? what's the point of a help line if they can't actually help?! I found the passivity so frustrating I had a go at her!

I feel so bad for you & your DH @turquoisecoast - totally screwed up. Is he in a field where he is likely to be able to find other work in the not too distant future? You have done well to restrain yourself, especially with their unprofessionalism.

I have found fair work completely useless in the past too - can't blame you for having a go when you are trying to get advice from the one place you should be able to.
