I am just a great big bundle of pain. I'm 30+2 and know I wasn't this uncomfortable yet in my previous two pregnancies. My back hurts, my hips ache, my knees are sore my feet are swollen. I go to bed tired, toss and turn most of the night. Then I wake up tired and aching. So over this - lucky this is number 3. If it had been like this for DS1 he would be an only child! 😭

I feel similar with my KFC lunch. When will I ever learn?

I'm wondering why as parents we so often care deeply about our kids' diet, health and fitness, but spend so little time and effort focusing on our own?

Because we don't have time maybe? I've just had maccas in the car too lol. More to do with the timing of DD sleep and school pick up, not wanting to wake her. So maccas drive through it was.

Yup. I've had more maccas in the past 11 months than the entire previous 33 years of my life due to either sleeping baby in the car or trying to kill 2 birds with one stone (eat lunch I haven't had to make while driving somewhere). Often find myself wishing there were more drive thru food options!

Melbourne needs to catch up then!! honestly I've lost track of the number of times in the last 4 months I've thought that subway would be nice (feels semi healthier than maccas, KFC etc) but the idea of unloading and reloading ds for 5 mins of sandwich construction seems pointless!!
