Trying not to move so I don't wake my kids! My 2 year old is lying on me and my 4 year is stuck to me like glue. Don't ask how I'm managing to be on my phone!

cold & delaying leaving for the hour long drive to a baseball game that probably won't happen -thinking my friend got the better part of this arrangement when she lent me her car for a few days if I took her kids to school & both our DS's to baseball

Finally sitting down after tidying the house. Relaxing with a cup of tea, a snack and OITNB. DD is asleep and I have the house to myself today. Bliss!!

I am amazed that I just managed to take a 4 hour nap! Of course the fact that dd had me up from 2am probably has something to do with it.

I am digging into the Harry Potter series for the first time in years and it's getting me a little emotional to be honest!

Hugs. Is it you or your LO with croup? ED is a horrible place to be overnight I hope you weren't kept waiting long either way.

Thank you. It was DS earlier this week and now it's DD. I saw drunk parents, a teenager with period pain (argh, an emergency!?!) a boy that swallowed a battery and a teen who had od'd. Was not fun at all. Babies are both ok now though, phew!

That was me a couple of weeks ago with ds. My first experience with croup (dd has never had it) and it was the scariest experience of my parenting life watching my poor boy go a tinge of blue at times trying to breathe

Hope they're on the mend quickly

Croup is the pits - I hope tonight is a better night @Olive Oil

I am impressed with myself today - my fear of my mother won out & my house has gone from looking like a tip to being actually clean (only toilet & bathroom to go) - well apart from mine & DS's bedroom where everything's been hidden
