    Has previously stated, you don't need to justify your choice. Go for it. I think your LO will also love the story behind it. I would.

    I think Beau is a lovely name and is on my list. The fact it's after your sister's dog isn't bad, its lovely. I mean its also more a human name than a dog name (unlike buster etc) anyway!
