How about using your sister name or middle name as a middle name for your son?

Just another option to think about.

Personally I'm not sure I'd love having my middle name inspired from a dog.

That was my first thoughts, her middle name is far too feminine to use and her first name is also feminine I was thinking of keeping it for baby no 3 incase we have a girl.

I would much rather share a name with my aunty's dog than be named after a fictional character who was a serial killer...and there are plenty of Dexter's around these days.
    Go for it.

No I think it's a lovely idea. I like the name Beau too.
I actuslly had a cat named Beau and I had it on the list for my son, we didn't end up using it though as we liked his name better.

Beau is a lovely name and family pets are precious! I'm quite sentimental and think it's lovely that you want to honour your sister somehow. I'm having my older siblings surname as a middle name for my boy due November. It's not a first name but that doesn't bother me. I just wanna do it cause I want that family connection.

Andrea Moss, from the Real Housewives of Melbourne, named her kids Bud (girl), Kiff (boy), and Buster (boy).

All dogs' names in my opinion.
