    I would totally use it OP, how often do we ever get asked our middle name anyway, and much less the 'meaning' behind it. Unless you mention it, people won't have a clue and in any case, I think it's a lovely idea and a lovely name.

    I think it would only be weird if the dog's name was Buster, Fido or some other undeniably 'dog' name.
    Beau is fine.

    Ohhh right, apologies OP if that's the case, I didn't think of it like that.
    Still, I wouldn't do it. I'd rather try and connect the sister's name to the baby's name. But again, JMO!

    It has personal meaning and it's a nice name regardless.
