Default Experience with Short Luteal Phase

Hi everyone just wondering if there is anyone out there with a short luteal phase mine ranges from 8(at its shortest ) to an average of 10. I've been ttc for 8 months now with a mc in February just wondering if I should go see a doctor or wait till the 12 month mark or if people have had success other ways.
    Thanks

Yes mine is short but usually 10-12 days. We have been trying for 1.5 years with no luck so far. Ds only took 8 months trying.

As your lp is quite short it might be best to see a dr sooner rather than later. You could also try b vitamins and/or vitex. Both lengthened my lp but only by 1 day.

    Default Short luteal phase

@AdornedWithCats how freaky, i have just been reading an old thread you participated alot in regarding vitex & B6 as im having the same issues as @Rachi321 after giving birth 3 months ago to my beautiful angel daughter at 29 weeks.
@Rachi321 i am currently taking Vitex & B12 to regulate my hormones and going to start B6 tomorrow as well.

I just had a 32 days cycles, O'd around CD 24 and AF arrived at 8dpo

How long have you been tracking your cycles for and do you always have an 8 day LP? How do you confirm O?

Thanks @ mrsmummabutterfly .. I've been tracking my cycles for 8 months now since I've started trying. I confirm o with a positive opk and my app(ovia) gives me my luteal phase which it's usually 10 days on average the longest it's ever been is 11. @Sunny dee no I don't exercise that much.

My luteal phase was/is short ranging from 7-9 days. It took me about 5 months to realise. I ended up having 1 session on acupuncture before my fertile period and that extended my luteal phase long enough to conceive we fell on our 8 month of trying.

    Default Short luteal phase

I have a short LP, about 11 or 12 days. I fell first time with my daughter and currently 10 weeks pregnant with number 2 also fell first try. I'm sorry you've been having trouble, I would have a chat to your dr about it, it can't hurt. It's good to be aware of your body and what is going on. Best of luck with TTC
