Default Primary IVF Graduates - Beyond and Besides the BFP

Hi ladies! Apologies I've been MIA. I updated my phone and have been having issues with my phone ever since and couldn't access this thread. Lots to catch up on! @onedaymaybebaby and @VickyP thanks for asking about me .. I'm all good feeling fatter by the day and getting lots of lovely movements. I felt him for a good 5 minutes last night on either side of my belly button - loved it!
Will write again once I've caught up xx

Bugger with phone issues @ABG79! I hope you don't have any more issues with it. We have missed you! Great to know that you and bubby are feeling well! My boy is getting stronger that his movements can be quite shocking at times, especially when he decides to kick me hard in the midst of a work meeting!

Good luck with your scan today @OneOfTheseDays! Hope it's all good news and I can't wait for new bubbas pictures! Let us know!

I just had an OB appt and everything seems to be tracking along fine. Bubby had 4 bouts of hiccups yesterday which I thought seemed excessive and worrying but apparently it's normal! Dr said he was just being greedy and has been swallowing amniotic fluid in big gulps hence the hiccups. Lol.

Backache kicking in even though I'm small so am thinking of getting a support belt. Ah, the joys...

So close now @MissTilly!!! any updates yet? Had princess engaged?

Happy Friday ladies! How was your scan today @OneOfTheseDays? Any pics?
@VickyP I've also got back pain (lower back) and my chiro advised against a support belt, when I asked her as it doesn't manage your back pain if that makes sense, and she has given me exercises to do to strengthen my back and stretch my muscles.. just thought I'd share with you - but ignore if you wish xx

I did the GTT this morning (75g 2 hours test). Does anyone know if how you react to the glucose drink can be an indication of possible GD?

@ABG79 wow GTT already, mine isn't until 27 weeks (24th oct)

Do you mean how your blood glucose reacted or how you physically reacted? All I know is if your blood glucose reading is above the normal range, then you may be diagnosed with gestational diabetes. How did you go with it today?

Well I've had a curveball thrown at me (a good one I think!). The original hospital that I wanted to go to (but wouldn't allow me because of catchment zones), phoned me today to say their birth numbers for January are looking really good so if I wanted to go there they are happy to take me on! They understand I'm probably set up with my current hospital so I don't have to...but the option is there if I wish! I can't fault the care I've received at my current hospital but it would be soooo much easier physically going to the one I originally wanted to go with.....argh decisions! I feel bad for pulling out of my current hospital but apparently transfers are really common between hospitals so I shouldn't be concerned about that. I've heard nothing but good things but I'd be gutted if I transferred then found the care/experience wasn't as good as I've received so far lol

Hi big bellies. Thread crash. Those who did a natural FET, what was involved pre transfer? Is it just BT's or a scan as well?

Waiting for news anytime on Insta @MissTilly

    Cheers xx

Oh you little angel @onedaymaybebaby xx A year at Primary has passed and Im doing my first FET. My last ditch effort before we close the door on ttc forever. We are very blessed to be in this position so I am ok either way. I just hope we get a scan, but wasn't able to recall from others if we do at Primary.

@onedaymaybebaby they wanted me to do an early GTT as I'm high risk having PCOS. I felt fine during and after the test, no headache, nausea or dizziness so I'm hoping that could be an indication no GD.
@Billie2 I did a natural FET and had blood tests only, maybe you could request a scan if you wanted one?. hope this is your lucky cycle xx

Hey everyone!! First week of official mat leave has been awesome! Had a pamper day on Wednesday getting my hair & nails done and a few lunch dates with friends too! Still haven't made it to the pool but hoping to tomorrow!! Had midwives & drs appt this week too and all looking good but still not engaged, she's definitely head down though! So I reckon she's going to keep us waiting. And I think that's all I've got to report on so far!! Will definitely keep you posted for any niggles I feel though! Fingers crossed they kick in next week!! Much love to you all!
