@MissTilly happy belated birthday! What a special treat having a scan on the same day and watching your beautiful Bub! I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your fur baby. It's incredibly sad when you have to say goodbye to them. Thinking of you and your family xx

Hi ladies, just a quick update from me. Have just got home from the hospital, 5hrs of monitoring as have had a niggly headache the past couple of days, some random cramping last night, passed a bit of what we think may have been mucous plug, braxton hicks and generally feeling crappy the past two days. Everything is fine with bubs, still moving and grooving, my cervix appears fine but my blood pressure is up! Had bloods taken which came back all clear, awaiting urine results to check for protein. BP has been sitting on 140/75 for most of the afternoon (was 160/75 when I got there just after lunch). They sent me home and I'm back there on Sat morning for more checks and results! I'm glad they were so attentive and didn't brush me off, it's worrying that I'm only 21 weeks with potentially high BP! Crossing fingers that there isn't protein in the urine! I've never had high blood pressure before! Will keep you posted x

    How stressful @onedaymaybebaby
Fx that there's no traces of protein in your urine. Will you find out in the morning? Keep us posted.

I've had a stressful afternoon, 2 weeks ago I had some light spotting but this afternoon it was very different, had a light bleed, it was fresh bright red blood. It happened just before my hospital check up - and an unprovoked bleed (no sex, or any examinations). They hospital have requested an ultrasound tomorrow really hoping everything is fine, no severe cramping which I'm focusing on as a positive.

Oh @ABG79...we both had a bad day yesterday! so sorry to hear that you had bleeding! I was going to ask how you were going on the spotting front! That's good they've requested an ultrasound! Have you had anymore overnight? Thinking of you Hun, I'm sure everything will be fine x

Results tomorrow unless anything urgent shows up....if that's the case they'll call me so at this stage no news is good news! While I'm hoping it's nothing, if anything I'd rather pregnancy induced hypertension than pre eclampsia!

@onedaymaybebaby have only had a small amount since last night, I've also got very slight cramping not painful though more like a dull ache. My u/s is at 11 I just want to see that he's ok. Hope your BP comes down, have they advised you take asprin? After the NIPT screening it came back I am high risk of getting pre-eclampsia so I'm on daily asprin, my BP is in normal range however they found slight traces on protein in my urine at my last hospital appt. hope you're feeling ok, and relaxing today xx

The cramping is worrying huh! I had period like cramps along with the braxton hicks and it worried me (particularly with the news last week if having a shortened cervix), but they stopped so it's a relief! They haven't said yet re any treatment, I guess it will depend on results and what my BP is tomorrow. I'm low risk for PE but it just shows anything is possible! I've taken today off work and I'm feeling really good which is a relief! My head is a bit foggy but no headache anymore as such!

I'm thinking of you today with your scan, time drags when you're waiting doesn't it! I wonder if the aspirin has anything to do with your bleeding?
