Finally up-to- date with the posts..*sigh*

Firstly- @OneOfTheseDays- sending u big hugs hun
I'm sorry to read ur Downs test came back high risk. I'm sorry I'm late coming into the game about all this.
It's such a difficult decision to make- to go for amnio/ CV or not and the follow up decisions that follow if the tests came back positive. Ur decision to carry on with the pregnancy regardless of what chromosomal abnormality one of the twins have is very admirable hun.

Gosh I wish I had joined up earlier..so i could give u this advice- There is a doc in Sydney- Dr Rita Mogra- she is an ob/gynae who specialises in fetal echocardiography. She is the best in the business and her main area of expertise is identifying fetal heart abnormalities at the earliest gestational age as possible and she's been able to do that as early as 10weeks. After its been identified, she organises a team of experts to advise u on what can be done and when. Some can be done in utero while others are done straight after the bub is born.
Would this change anything? I guess not. But for some women, knowing at 10weeks is better than knowing at 20 weeks.
Again- I admire ur strength and your optimism hun... these babies have a great mummy in you
@VickyP- ( and everybody else) make sure to increase ur Calcium intake with ur Vitamin D supps.. bub will be drawing calcium from ur own bones to make theirs so stock up on calcium ladies!!
I learnt this is in my first preg when when I was getting more aches and pain and it wasn't the 10kg in 5mnths that i gained..haha

Hello to the new ladies who aren't from Primary Feel free to stay and join in and excuse us if we start to refer back to conversations from the old thread..

Happy Fathers Day to all the Daddies-to-be and of course, the current Daddies .

@VickyP- maintain current distance with in-laws...
I lived with in laws after we had DS and it was a 10 mnth nightmare!!! Haha.. MIL and I clashed heads everyday about parenting styles, it put a strain on our relationship which was fine pre-baby. Once baby arrives it's like they become obsessive, trying to relive their motherhood with ur baby!!! Staaayy aaaway!!!!! Haha

@tjuls welcome lovely! Have been waiting for you to join us! I am a one thread girl I found it really difficult being apart of two. I find it hard keeping up with one! So glad you've joined us. How have you been feeling? How many weeks are you now? So happy for you!
@MissTilly your babies room is stunning! Love the chest of drawers! Our place is so small We are in a one bedroom apartment, so don't have excitement of getting a baby's room ready just yet. We've just bought a house but won't be moving into until after our baby is born, so look forward to getting it set up then..
@VickyP so sorry your feeling stressed Hun.. I think its really important for you, hubby and your son to have that special family time after he is born. Do you think hubby will be understanding when you talk to him and tell him you only want to stay for a short time? It's so difficult when family are so far away. My inlaws are in WA and they also want to come and stay with us after our son is born I keep putting off having the conversation with hubby as I want to stay in our little family bubble as long we can after he is born.. As having family around can be stressful even though they only want to help..

When are you back home @VickyP? How have you been feeling?

I'm pleased to say my heartburn has eased! Have been eating smaller meals and eating much slower and it seems to be working. Sleep is improving also but I've been feeling really tired I could nap all day long !

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend xx

Wow @tjuls, I have to admire your perseverance to read through all the posts on this thread!

Thanks ladies for all your support. I knew you would understand how I feel. My MIL is more understanding and it's my FIL that I can't stand. Not to mention that DH has an older brother who stays at home and does nothing and basically lives off his parents and my DH. Sigh - talk about family dramas.

My PILs are getting old so I can understand DH wanting to spend more time with them. The consolation is that we wanna have a second kid so at some point will have to head back for another FET with our frosties if I don't conceive naturally.

I can already feel the tension and the difference in parenting styles and yes you are right @tjuls - why are they wanting to relieve parenting days?!?! Not that they can really help much since they are old and not as mobile. Sigh. My parents on the other hand are so chilled and relaxed about the whole situation.

DH is being extra sweet so I can't fault him so hopefully things will work out in time to come...

I'm feeling alright @ABG79. Am actually waiting to board my flight back to Sydney from Bangkok now. Haha. Reaching Sydney at 7am tomorrow morning and have my scheduled OB appt at 11am. Having a bump did allow us to whizz through customs here so being preggers definitely has its privileges!

Thanks @ABG79- Im happy to be here with u all (finally)..haha..yeah am feeling alright.. No nausea, no MS, just tired around 9pm, so early bedtime for me since bfp; boobs are really sore so thats the only reassuring thing I have going for me at the moment. Some nights of insomnia which ive read a few of you are going through as well.
I'm 8w+4d today and my follow up scan is on the 16th sept.

Glad to hear ur heartburn has eased @VickyP- gosh I envy ur Thailand trip away..haha.. I could sooo want to go to an island and just lie there under a tree and listen to the waves and sleep..haha...🌴🌴
Sounds like every family has their issues..haha.. luckily hubby is an only child so I only have his parents to worry about.. I on the other hand have 2 brothers and 1 sister and we have alot of trouble in our family ..haha

If it's any consolation @tjuls, it's rainy season on Thailand so the beaches aren't fantastic places to hang out now. Lol. The weather was also too hot for me. And tell me about the dust and mosquitos! Argh! I'm glad to be back to nice cool spring weather here for now!

We did spend a couple of days away on the mountains which are pretty nice. Got greeted with a sea of fog in the morning. Other than that, it was eat, eat and eat.
