Hi Ladies - so much exciting news on this thread.....I LOVE IT!!! I must say, I'm a bit jealous we can't be sure of finding out the sexes from the harmony test.....I wanna know now (impatient much?!) I guess we will just have to wait until we can tell by ultrasound

So, my second blood test came back and the GP has referred me to an endocrinologist because my thyroid levels are still all over the shop (low TSH, high FT4 & FT3). Of course I've gone straight to research mode (as the GP didn't want to offer much information, just that I shouldn't stress and should be looked after by a specialist because of the twin pregnancy). Anyway, I'd obviously like to make sure that the babies aren't in any danger, but I do think that the levels may be caused by the prednisolone I'm still on so I'm reluctant to spend $$$$$ on a specialist who will just say "let's monitor you while you wean off the drugs". I'm looking at starting to wean off them a little earlier than originally planned anyway. The GP did also speak to a FS who said to start weaning off them now - although I originally felt more comfortable weaning off at week 12, it might be better to start now if it means it might level out the thyroid hormones, white blood cell count and neutrophils.......oh, I don't know! I know I should just trust the doctors, but it seems no-one really knows what's going on and I get different answers from everybody. Hmmmmm.......does oracle @tjuls have any experience in these types of blood tests? She seems to know a lot of stuff about stuff

So, apart from that, I'm actually still feeling pretty good! Looking forward to seeing our bubbas on the 1st August when I'll be 11wks 3 days. I've then got my first antenatal appointment with the hospital midwives on the 3rd August. Just a little bit excited

@clucky14 - totally get you! I'm suffering from insomnia too. Waking in the early hours, staying awake for hours then when I do go back to sleep I have to get up and so tired all day. I'm going to stop looking at my mobile late at night and looking up things online and practise some deep breathing and meditation..
Hope u get a restful sleep tonight xx

This pregnancy stuff is so hard on our bodies! I wouldn't change it for the world but we still have every right to feel blah lol!

WOOHOOOOOO..... So happy for you @ABG79! Team blue - way to go! It's raining boys on here I have to say.

Sorry I can't help there @OneOfTheseDays. For about 50% of what you said, I have no idea what it is! Too specialised for me! Oops. But I sense there's a lot of dilemma about next steps. Are you doing shared care or an OB? I can't share any experiences or ideas on how best to go forward on this. So sorry hun!

Sorry to hear about the insomnia @clucky14, one of those very common pregnancy woes. I agree with @ABG79. Meditation helped me too. In fact, I quite liked the bonding I got with DH. We would hold hands and lie on the bed and just focus on breathing. So relaxing and I love that special moment with him when we drift off to lalaland. It did get better from second trimester onwards.

My constant problem has always been digestion all through the pregnancy. Now, I am still constantly bloated and constipated, especially towards the end of the day after a day of eating, I am just so bloated and uncomfortable I don't want to eat anyone but I have to! I have been trying to dose up on fruit, yoghurt and all, but it's not really helping. And I am starting to worry about hemorrhoids too. SIGH.

Plus, I still don't feel bub at 18w. 10 days to scan. ARGH.
