    Default Street appeal

Dear hubbers, I need some help. My house has 0 street appeal and I want to do a few things to it. I need some suggestions...? Our power and telstra box is on the front of the house (I know who would do that?!) And we have no portico. I have some design ideas but have no idea where to start! Help! Should I go to a draftsperson, designer? Whatever we do will be a diy (apart from some trades like electricial) I have a very teeny tiny budget but for the right look am willing to outlay as our house is quite nice/large inside but if we were to sell it no one would even stop after driving past atm - even me! My DH can do the landscaping, but honestly I am so stuck. Please help!

    Default Street appeal

We've recently done the front of our house. We made wooden slat privacy screens for the hot water heater and air con unit. We put a formal hedge in and standard/ball plants in front. We got plantation shutters (white) and got rid of the verticals. Hubby put in a new herringbone paved path and built rendered pillars
A good landscaper should be able to help with design

Subbing! We are about to add a front door and front porch/small deck to improve our street appeal. Our current entry is down the side. We need a draftsman and a small DA with council as we are changing the appearance of the front and the porch would be technically beyond the official building line. Once thats done, i want to focus on plants. They can create a look instantly.
