Default Have you had cosmetic tattooing?

I am considering getting my eyebrows tattooed using the new feathering technique. Has anyone had this done?

I am also considering eyeliner tattooing.

I would be grateful for any comments on the above procedures if you have had them.

I haven't but my mum got her eyebrows done and they look awesome. She has sparse, white blonde brows normally but got them done light brown. Can't even tell they're tattooed.

Do you know if she got the new feathering technique on her brows?

    That's great.

I've read that it lasts around 12-18 mths and then fades. Have your mums brows faded?

My sister got hers done recently and they look great. Considering her eyebrows used to finish at the arch I think anything would have been an improvement.

Not that I've noticed. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have to get them done again that soon, I thought it was closer to 5 years. She got them done about 2 years ago and they still look great.

Had mine done the week before I found out I was pregnant! I love them so much. They look so natural and I never have to fill them in anymore. They do have to be touched up every 12-18 months, as they will generally fade out by 24 months as they are designed to be non-permanent.

    How much does it cost?
I would love to have it done. A lady at school turned up recently though with really dark looking brows, it looked fake and said she'd just had it done and takes a week or two to tone down. I don't want to be embarrassed to look at people!
    Maybe she didn't have feathering?
