    I have 2 options for him. The local public school with 600 students or the Catholic school with 240. There is another Anglican school close by but I can't afford that.

    600 is probably slightly larger than average but NSW public schools have maximum 20 students in kindy.

    Class size is fine if they have enough support. How many teachers and aides are in a kindy class?

    This is the same size as my dd class (qld catholic school) and they have support teachers in each class
