I'm 12 weeks today and we haven't bought anything, but we'll be buying some stuff next week - including some big ticket items - because we're going to set the nursery up. We're doing that so we have lots of time to get our dogs used to the new house set up etc (they're nervous nellies about their routine being changed!)

We went to a baby shop last week for the first time, because they're having a sale, and I had full intentions of buying some stuff then, but DH got all superstitious and said we'd wait until after 12 weeks lol

I would be careful buying things too early, that have a warranty. We bought DDs pram at around 20 weeks. The pram seat broke after a couple of months use (first 6 months she was in a capsule) and was just out of warranty.

This, we purchased our pram early on, had a brake issue and was nearly out of warranty even though dd1 was only a few months old
