We'll be using ours to set hubby up in his home business. It's a very helpful time of year, that's for sure.

Is anyone else struggling to advise of non lodgement of tax return?? Ive been trying for two days and keep getting "service not available. Try again later" I've called twice over it and they won't fix whatever the issue is 😠

Yes I did through Centrelink! I ended up doing it through the ATO instead.

I'm almost certain that you have to do it through both the ATO and Centrelink. I completed the non lodgement on ATO and I didn't have to put anything in, whereas Centrelink you usually have to put in both your and your partner's income.

The non lodgement thing hasn't been showing up for me with Centrelink, so I called them and they said it wouldn't be visible until my next ftb payment, because part of that fortnight was still in June.

Dumb question, but is the money that DP and I got in our account ($1700-ish) overnight the FTB supp that this thread is about? Wasn't sure if it's a mistake as neither of us has done our tax yet.

If you log in to your centrelink account, it should state what the payment would be for.
