Have been loving these! Its got me feeling all nostalgic, and also blown away by how much technology has changed our lives in such a short time. The smart phones that we have these days were just the stuff of science fiction when we were kids!

    Default Kids these days...

For my first job I worked in the typing pool. If I made a mistake I would use tippex, but more often then not would have to start the page again. I also collected the faxes and telexes.

The best bit was my pay packet. An actual packet with money (including $1 and $2 notes) in it.

It was sort of like Twitter for fax machines. You typed your short message into the machine and sent it. It would print out at the other end. At the time it was a modern version of the telegram.

    Default Kids these days...

Just thought of another (thanks to a random Louis Theroux documentary I'm watching).

Finding a stash of playboy magazines in your friend's father's hiding place (or heaven forbid your own parent's stash ).

Teenagers these days live in a world where p o r n is so main******, available and normal for so many. I actually think this one where I miss the old days.
