Default Can you fix my washing machine?

I have a Whirlpool 7.5kg Front Loader Sports. It is about 4 and a half years old. The past two weeks or so, it keeps stopping several times mid-wash and the red light indicating "water tap closed" comes on. No one has played with the taps. We only have the cold tap attached and we lower the temp to C for every wash. Basically nothing has changed from two weeks ago to now, and I need to fix this because it's driving me CRAZY!

Have you experienced this before? Or are you really educated about washing machines? I NEED YOUR HELP!!

It sounds like a blocked pipe. Our dishwasher did exactly this...and it was a piece of food that got dislodged and clogged the pipe.
So my guess is there's something dislodged in one of the pipes.

Is there a little plug or tap on the front somewhere? Like behind a little door? We had a front loader that did similar and the filter was full. ..I never realised it had one. ..opened the little plug and water came out along with bobby pins and all sorts of rubbish! !!

I also vote a blocked pipe. Do you have the user manual? It might let you know where to look and what to do.

I think we have a user manual somewhere. Might have to dig it out tomorrow and see how we go.
I can only imagine what would be caught in there!

Turn the tap off and disconnect the hose - it will probably have a little filter in the end, pull it out and wash it, put it back in and connect up.

The manual for my front load samsung said to clean the filter every 3 months. I realised I hadn't ever done it before! Mine had the same little white door as in the pic above. It was very grotty 😂
