This made me wonder what I spend so here it is.

Hair: $120 x 6.5 (every 8 weeks) = $780 - tho this is the least I've spent on hair in ages!

Hair products (shampoo, conditioner, volumiser, dry shampoo) = $600

Side note @Hollywood I'm the same with cheap shampoo! I keep trying but it makes it feel limp and lifeless.

    Face products: $600

    Make-up: $500

    Brows: $300

    Facials: $300

Misc chemist stuff (razor blades, body moisturiser, etc): $750

    Total: $3830

    Way lower than I expected.

But this doesn't count events, impulse buys, etc.

Hmm...moisturisers/shampoo/body wash aren't really beauty products to me, at least not in the way I use them. To me they're in the same category as toothpaste, toothbrushes or floss. I have to use very specific body washes and moisturizers (and moisturize many times a day) to avoid cracking skin with pretty significant consequences. It's just maintenance of a healthy body for me.

    I use an electric razor.

I might spend an average a year of:
    makeup - $10
    haircuts - $20
    hair dye - $15
(average because I get a haircut approximately every 18 months etc.)
